Rodon Hotel - Chania (Crete)

Swimming late at night in the large pool under the stars was a highlight, and the unexpected richness of breakfast surpassed my expectations.

The service was exceptional, felt very welcome and looked after. Breakfast was amazing, good variety of food. Swimming pool was great, nice size. Great cafes close by, n supermarket next door. Town is a bit of a walk but we didnt mind. Buses are pretty frequent too. Highly recommended!

Owners were kind and flexible for early check in. We appreciate that very much!

Finding the hotel was quite frustrating as the sign was partially blocked by a tree. The room itself was dated, with a very hard bed that failed to provide comfort. We faced some inconveniences like a lack of coffee/tea facilities, forcing us to request boiling water from the staff regularly.

The room was nice. Staff was very friendly. The best part was the swimming pool. A huge plus for the area. The toom was comfortable. It isn't located far from the city center. You can walk there but would recommend driving. About a five minute drive. Free wifi is also a huge perk.

The air conditioning didn't really work. It ran but did not get the room cool. Shower did not have a curtain and the nozzle was hand held. No place to hang it up.

I was happy with hotel's quiet location close to downtown. Had airy, unique room that was kept very clean...

All the staff were PLEASANT, welcoming. The room was airy, compact and complete with the bathroom and TV plus shampoos. The pool was excellent, sensational breakfasts with cheeses and fresh bread and fresh orange juice.

The hotel features a large swimming pool that was perfect for late-night swims, and the cute staff provided helpful assistance for airport transfers and local transportation. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the fresh orange juice at breakfast was a good touch. The bathroom space felt limited at times, and the Wi-Fi connection was slow, especially during peak hours.

The hotel had a wonderful location with easy access to local attractions and public transport options. The facilities include a great swimming pool. I also appreciated the fresh juice served at breakfast. It added a nice touch to the morning routine.

Perfect quick stop!

We had to book last min and it turned out great! Friendly staff made check-in easy. The room was comfy with nice beds. We loved chilling by the pool. Breakfast was decent, especially the fresh juices! The location is super close to Chania and has some shops nearby. Just a bit cramped in the bathroom.

I was really lookin forward to my stay, but it was ruined by the noisy air-conditioning, made sleep impossible, horrid. And with a hard bed and lame shower curtain, i expected at least a complimentary room upgrade but they obviously don't care. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

Cute atmosphere, perfect if you're looking for a place with polite staff and a good breakfast with fresh local pastries.

The staff members were great. The hotel's super quiet place created a quiet environment for restful nights. The pool area was lovely, offering fine views of the mountains, perfect for relaxation. I appreciated the good garden view from my room.
